Jazzing Up My Appointment Book With Gocco

Used the Gocco hand stamp this time. I really don't like the pegs that hang off the stamp. Instead I took them off and tried matching it up with out. Notice the registration is off? I'll have to figure out a new way.

Born-Again Vintage by Bridgett Artise & Jen Karetnick

Disappointing. There were a couple cute styles and fun innovative ideas but overall, blah. This book was created to inspire the reader to incorporate vintage in your wardrobe. Unfortunately the articles of clothing chosen were mostly dreadful, turning me off to most of the new reinvented looks.
Instructions are very brief. Easy to understand for a intermediate sewer, but might pose a challenge for a beginner.

Ready To Be Quilted

Here's the first layer stitched to muslin. I have a few more squares to layer. I forgot to add the second layer of squares before I took pictures. I picked up some cotton batting, now I'm trying to decide on the border and back color. I think I've settled with a dark color like Bordeaux. I'm really excited about finishing this throw so I need to hurry up and make a color decision.

On My Desk Wednesdays :: Attaching the Squares

Still working on that Patchwork Throw ... I'm supposed to pin the squares to muslin, which I'm out of right now. I wanted to get an idea of how the front will look. I pieced the front together and as soon as I acquire some muslin, I'll re-piece it.
