Episode 11: The Best Of The Best

Challenge: Create a companion piece for your best look.

Favorite Designer(s): Althea

Least Favorite(s): Logan

Winnner: Althea

Competition Over For: Logan

Yeahs::

• I loved Heidi's opening outfit. The dress was gorgeous!
• Carol Hannah's was a cute cocktail dress, but the top looked a little loose.
• Althea's sweater! I'd definitely wear it. I'm not sure I'd wear the pants but all in all the outfit was stylish and very wearable.
• Irina's sweater jacket came in second to Althea's. I like sweater jackets.

Nays::

• Heidi's outfit for the runway. I don't like shiny elbow patches.
• Logan's was just bad. It was described as very Judy Jetson ... I agree.
• Christopher's, I liked the ruffles/texture but something was off. The levels of texture didn't blend well. He had the right idea, but execution was off. I bet with more time he would have wowed.

Yeahs ::

• Nicholas chooses Greece to challenge himself. I love this attitude.
• Carol Hannah beautiful but the design has been done many times.
• Tim tells Nicholas his "work was beautifully executed ...", I agree Tim.
• I would have worn Nicholas', it was my fave after all.

Nays ::

• Irina complains that everyone is cracking jokes ... she is such a downer!
• Irina trashes Christopher.
• Logan's, nice tailoring but boring. I thought for sure he would be going home.
• Irina's was to brown. I like brown, but that was over kill on the camel color.
• Christopher was my fave in the beginning. Now he seems to be going down. I hope he starts getting back on top. I don't want to see him go yet.

Competition Over For: Shirin

Yeahs ::

• Nicholas's positive attitude. He was so excited to do this challenge.
• Logan compliments Carol Hannah making her giddy and flirty.
• Everyone acting goofy.
• Nicholas calls Irina a b!tch.
• Nicholas's feathers looked awesome.
• Christopher's outer piece was borderline steampunk. I loved it.
• I liked the top of Shirin's dress.
• Althea created a beautiful pattern.

Nays ::

• Irina bashing Shirin ... again!
• Shirin was struggling. She doesn't do to well under pressure.
• Sequins and sequins. Oh, I so don't like sequins.
• I didn't care for Carol Hannahs. It was ok, but not win worthy.

Episode 8 : A Fashionable New Beginning

Challenge: The designers must convert an old wedding dress into a fashionable new look.

Least Favorite Designer(s): Sadly Christopher, Logan

Yeahs ::

• Last challenge for Immunity - Game on!
• Nicholas's facial expressions while he was talking to his "divorcee". He was cracking me up.
• Irinna's dye job. Loved the color but not so much all the lace.
• Gordana's texture was amazing.
• Shirin's stitching.

Nays ::

• Ugly wedding dresses!
• 1 day challenge.
• Shirin was very discouraged. I thought she'd choke.
• Logan frantic. I wanted him to pull it together, afraid of him going home.
• Tim was constantly referring to the models as "the divorcees". Sounded kind of condescending.
• Did not agree with the judges comments about Epperson's dress.
• Logan's fit was way off. His outfit was a little lop sided. I thought he was going home with his terrible sewing job.

Episode 7 : The Sky Is the Limit

Challenge: Designers must create two looks in blue for Macy's INC brand.

Least Favorite Designer(s): Louise/Nicholas

Yeahs ::

• Designers worked in teams of twos ... Christopher/Epperson, Carol Hannah/Shirin, Althea/Logan, Louise/Nicholas.
• Irina is an awesome sketch artist.
• I enjoyed seeing Christopher and Epperson teamed up. They were my fave designers from last week.
• Carol Hannah and Shirin created a very wearable and stylish look. I loved the top on the tunic.

Nays ::

• Designers teamed up: worst pair ... Irina/Gordana. I'm almost positive that anyone who pairs with Irina will come across difficulty. That lady has people issues.
• Louise's stupid ruffles again. Am I remembering wrong, or does she do ruffles for every outfit? How did she get on the show with all the ruffly collars she produces?
• Why were the judges blaming Nicholas for the ruffles? It was Louise's designs that got picked. He was only the assistant that was supposed to help create them. I was getting annoyed when Heidi repeatedly reminded him that he was lucky to have immunity.
• What was with the young blonde judge? Can't remember her name, but I remember her prissy looks. She always made these stuck up faces when she looked at the designers. Did not like her.
