  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
  • Please avoid spoilers!

Diaper Pouch

I'm weening from a big diaper bag to something small. Small enough to fit in my purse. My youngest is almost completely out of diapers. I still wanted to be able to carry some essentials, in case of accidents, just to be safe. The diaper pouch fits a pack of wipes and 3 diapers with room to spare.

I added a velcro pocket to the back and decorated with topstitching.

The front is screen printed and has some topstitching for decorations too.

Bag Tag

I saw this bag tag on My Moments and thought I’d play. Here are the rules for the tag:

  1. Post a picture of whatever bag you are using today - not last weekend when you and your hubby went out to that fabulous restaurant. No cheating!!!
  2. Tell us how much it cost. This is a no-judgment zone — there will be no ridiculing or eye rolling here. And, if there is a story to go along with how you obtained it, tell us.
I purchased this Mossimo bag from my favorite store, Target ...$16.99. No story behind it. I fell in love with the yellow. I walked in for diapers and milk, stepped out with a really cute bag.

Special Delivery

The fabric for my first quilt has arrived. I forgot I ordered two new patterns as well, all Amy Butler. When I walk into the fabric store, I tend to gravitate towards her fabrics more than any other designer. Does that make me a Butler snob?

Teaser Tuesdays :: New Meme

Here's a new meme I will be playing along with. A little peek into what I'm reading in my spare time.

Found this meme here and here.

TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:

  • Grab your current read.
  • Let the book fall open to a random page.

Teaser ::

"You're making something out of nothing," I say, hoping to convince her, hoping to convince myself. " The only thing Damen and I have in common is our taste in movies and costumes. That's it, I swear." And when I smile, I'm hoping it plays more real than it feels.

(pg 75 Evermore by Alyson Noel)

1st Quilt :: Fabric Changes

I thought I was settled on my fabric choices, turns out I wasn't. I'm loving green right now and really wanted to incorporate it. Playing around in Illustrator (again) I came up with new fabric choices ... the final choices ... no turning back, the fabric is ordered and on the way. I'm going with a solid color for the border/trim, but I haven't made a final decision on what color yet.

Ordered my fabric from fabric.com. Shipping is free (in the US). This is new so I'm not sure if it's promotional or a new change.
