On My Desk Wednesday :: Photoshop

I won't be doing to much on my craft/printing/sewing/storage desk this week. I'll mostly be working on my photos for Etsy (hopefully opening next month). Photos ... my weakness. I've never been good. I took bad photos in photography class back in high school. By the end of the year, I still didn't improve.

I came across a few Etsy sellers who had taken really good photos of their cards. Looked like they had been scanned into the computer. Then I came across Make It and saw how nice her scanned cards came out. So, I gave it a shot. I like how they look, but I haven't decided if I'll use them yet. Although, they do look nicer than the photos I took of them.

I found Make It through Craft Synergy. Shannon Riffe is the designer behind Make It. She documents her progress of running her own screen printing business ... Rifferaff.

Great idea with the scanning! I have been struggling with good photos of my cards as well. It's very frustrating. But can't wait for your shop to open!! Good luck!

I just found Make It this week! I love her designs.

Tina, I need to improve my pictures so much. I'm in the middle of a 2 day workshop and already learned so much about taking pictures and my camera. Can't wait until the next class.

Anxious to see your etsy site up.
