First Award (s)

Last week I was passed this lovely award, courtesy of Sherrin. I'm very excited. This is my first blog award. I don't even have a speech prepared ...

Now, I'd like to pass the Brillante Weblog award to:

The Tiny Fig

Dozi

Average Jane Crafter

Diaries of a Slipcover Diva

Jezzeblog

Here's the rules for passing on the award:

  1. Put the logo on your blog.

  2. Add a link to the person who awarded you.

  3. Nominate other blogs. Sherrin nominated 5 blogs, so I followed suit.

  4. Leave a message for the nominee on their blog.
Sherrin also passed on The Tree of Happiness award:

I'd like to pass the happiness award/meme to:

Hanies

Paper Shmaper

Sew Trashy

Lucy Player

Things Are Better With A Parrot

My six things I'm happy about:

  1. My boys (3 and 2yrs old). They still adore me. I still have a few more years until their peers are more important.
  2. My boyfriend understanding my love of crafting and giving me my own crafting space.
  3. Having the time and means to craft.
  4. Being introduced to Gocco and the blogging world.
  5. My job - Having my own business and being my own boss.
  6. The roof over my head and the food in my fridge.

Congratulations on the award - you really do have a great blog. Thanks for the happiness meme.

Did you scour the organza to remove the finish? Perhaps leaving it to soak in a mixture of warm water and soda ash will remove the finish so that the screen filler will adhere better?

Venetian Blue - Your welcome.

Natasha - I did scrub the organza. I was afraid of scrubbing it to hard. I didn't know how the fabric would hold up. I like the soaking idea. I wish I would have done that.

Krissy - Your welcome. I enjoy reading your blog.

Poor you with your teeth! I guess they thought cemented teeth would look better than no teeth! Amelie has managed so far to hold onto the teeth. We are off to see the dentist again this week so fingers crossed he doesn't pull them out. But I have to admit I have been enjoying our diet of ice cream!
